So I totally broke all the rules for Docs. I broke them in at a three day festival in the desert. These did not need any breaking in. I got a thousand and one compliments on how much these shoes rock. Also, after dancing for three days I did not lose a single spike on a shoe. They looked great with everything from dresses to shorts to tights. I am a size 5 and got the 5 and they did not need any insoles. They are comfortable as is. These are my favorite shoes ever!
