I recently ordered a few pairs of less expensive boots(not Frye)to try but ended up sending them back due to lack of quality materials, craft, style and fit/feel. I now believe that with boots you get what you pay for. These billy stitch boots are a bit narrow in the toe so I recommend ordering a half size larger than your usual size. They have a padded foot-bed which provides a wonderful ride(walking)! The brown color is more subdued, a dustier brown which makes them a little more casual looking than pictured. They are a little taller than a typical cowboy-style boot with no stitching on the toe--making them more unique. I am really pleased with these boots!
