The fabric has the softness of rayon with the stregth of spandex. The color is more muted than on the monitor but very pretty. The fabric in pink is not transparent if it is lose on you. No threads hanging. The dress has several cutting details that make it even dressy with the right accesories.

Purchased this dress in turquoise and LOVE the shade. Fabric is similar to a jersey-knit, but can be dressed up easily. I do agree with other reviewers in that if you are "busty", it's still flattering, and if you have any extra "you" in your mid-section, the band in the middle almost masks it. I have received lots of compliments. I highly recommend this style and brand.

Oops! I liked the blue color I didn't realize that I already had it in my closet amongst many beautiful dresses from Zappos! The dress has beautiful material, color, fits the body beautifully to allow curves to shine with the fantastic bodice and the below-the-bodice flared skirt area. And, as you can see on the model, the bodice especially highlights the breasts in a reserved fashion. I don't know how it would work for a small-breasted woman but I have a curvy figure with a 36C or D depending on the brand so it looks great on me; looks similar to the model in the picture. I get many compliments on the blue dress and also my red dress (which I ordered 2 of; one for my NJ home and one for my FL home). I gather that you can see how much I love this dress. Loved the color, style and fit of this dress, wore it to my HS reunion - it looked great. My only complaint is that the material is very thin and it feels like a jersey knit shirt - I had to run out and buy a full length slip to wear underneath because all undergarments showed lines through the thin material. Overall - very comfy to wear after I smoothed out the wrinkles.

This is the second Patagonia Jacket I have purchased. The other was the Down Sweater Jacket which I like as well. This Jacket has a real nice shade of Blue. I have gotten many compliments on the color. The Jacket fits very snuggly and the sleeves are about an inch too long for me. The sleeves also seem to gather up around the velcro closure. The body length is perfect and it seems to give me the warmth that I was looking for. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. It is worth noting that I have gotten faster service and satisfaction on the Zappos Site then I have gotten through the Patagonia Site.

My husband loves the jacket. It works in all kinds of weather. Wind proof, light rain and insulated. Perfect.
