Excellent comfort and quality as expected of Merrel. These shoes are a little bit bulkier than I expected, but they are definitely heavy duty. They are great for every day wear and moderately difficult hikes.

These shoes are fantastically comfy and have great cushioning and support. My wife and I walk 3.2 miles every day on hard surface streets and these shoes make it a pleasure. I have had Merrell Chameleons before and this version is better. My prior Chameleons wore out in less than a year. Hope to get more mileage out of this pair given the high cost. My actual shoe size measured with one of those foot tools is 9 wide. These shoes are 9.5 medium and fit perfect.

Excellent shoe true size. Your feet will feel secured in these Merrell in any terrain.

I was excited to find that Merrell went back to the style of the previous chameleon and not the third version which was an ugly design. These shoes offer good support and handles well in a little rain but they are not meant to be submerged in water or a serious down pour. I wish they offer a lighter color soon because the stone is a little darker than what I prefer. I am on my feet for at least 12 hours a day for work so I am always looking for good shoes, socks and insoles. The life of previous Merrell shoes have always been a year for me.

I bought these for my son's birthday. This is his second pair and he loves them.
