I was hesitant to buy this dress because of the price. However, I have gained some weight and really need a look that slenderizes me and is comfortable. This dress is beyond flattering! I was fearful that it would hug my hips, thighs and butt. But it does not! The chevron pattern plays tricks with your eyes. I am large chested. While it does nit hid my chest, it does not accentuate it, either. I am 5'4". Normally, I am between a 6-8 in
pants. In
dresses, I am usually a 6. My chest is a 34D. I ordered an XS. It fit perfectly. It barely brushes the floor, but not enough that I need to have it hemmed. I was afraid that it would be too low on the back. I am not one to flaunt my body parts. It comes up above the clasp on the back of your bra. It sits just below your shoulder blades. You will need a backless bra. Or go braless if you dare. But this dress minimizes hips, thighs, butt, and waist! No kidding. The weight of the material is perfect that it makes the dress flow as you walk. Seriously it is a beautiful dress!

First off, I ordered this dress on a late afternoon and it showed up the next day! Zappos is amazing! Now, the dress...love! I was unsure as to what size I would need so I ordered xs and s. I was concerned it would be too short in the xs, but I was pleasantly surprised at the length. I am 5'8" and it just brushes the floor, so I will need flat shoes, but that's fine. It is spot on for sizing and the comfort of the material is wonderful. Light and airy but not see through. The open back is great! The fit and chevron styling is very flattering and actually makes it looks like I am taller, which I love! Great dress that will be a favorite thus summer!

This dress is unbelievably flattering. I am 5'6, average build and have a bit of mommy belly left from my two kids. The downward stripes are very slimming.

This dress is amazing! You will get tons of compliments. I say it runs pretty big. I am 5'5 140lbs and and XS is still draping a bit in the back. Def. go a size down. I love this! Worth every penny!

Very flattering. Runs true to size, if anything a little big. I'm 5'7 - needed a
wedge flip flop to keep hem from dragging. Great dress! And of course Zappos got it to me in under 24 hours - the best.

This dress is amazing. It does run a bit big and long. After reading the other reviews, I took a chance and went with a small even though I do not normally wear a small. It fit great. The sash/belt is part of the dress and knots in front or to the side. It is very flattering and slimming. You can definitely wear a halter-style or strapless bra with it. The top part can be adjusted to hide the bra straps, and the back does not come down too low, so you can hide the back of the bra. FYI: The Passport/White dress is navy and white. It is a dark navy. The fabric has a cotton-like feel. It is not thick or heavy jersey. It's really a great dress you can wear casual or dressed up. I love it! Well worth the price and thank you Zappos for the free overnight shipping!

I bought an XS and a Small in this dress. I'm skinny but I have D cups so sizing is always a little off with me. Overall, I decided on the XS because: the length is exactly at the floor (the small dragged a little on the floor which would be perfect with heels but I want to wear
flats). I'm a bit over 5',8" and weigh 127lbs. The top of the waist hits right at my hips which I like (i don't like high-waist
clothing). The top of the dress has elastic in the back, and in the XS it's just a little bit more fitted than the small. I could barely tell the small differences between the two
dresses and I could have kept either one but again, I wanted to wear flat shoes so the XS works better for me so i'm returning the small. Super soft material and super pretty and fun for summer. love it.

I was so excited to get my maxi dress this afternoon. Oh no, the dress was still in the plastic bag and I could see a small snag. I opened it and still tried it on and the small snag is right on the left chest area. On the white part of the dress so it is obvious. Hey, I am paying full price so I want it to be perfect. The fit is right on and slimming for my height but I am sending it back. I am ordering the same dress again and hoping it does not have any snags on it. Four stars for the snag.
