I have searched Zappos for a black shoe...of course, not just any old shoe...the perfect black leather heel for me. Trouble was, I didn't know exactly what I wanted. Round toes, pointy toes, platform, no platform, 2 1/2" to 3" heel...arghhh. (Drew the line at an open or peep toe; they do not work for me.) I'm 61 with bad knees, a bad back and bunions but I have good legs and want to stay stylish as long as possible! I ordered and returned, ordered and returned...poor Zappos. And then I decided to try a low, kitten heel (which I think only looks good with a pointy toe but not a witch's toe, aka a roach killer)...not too much to choose from but here it is and it's perfect! I wear a 6M or 6W depending on the shoe and I went with a 6W...fits like a dream and very comfortable. The little ruching or pleated effect across the vamp keeps it from being the boring same old, same old. I have one small complaint. What is it with this brand when it comes to smell? These are leather shoes, granted, not expensive leather but any Fitzwell I've ever ordered, smells like rancid plastic. Luckily, these are almost smell free after only a few days of airing out of the box. Ladies, throw that box away. The stink will stay in the cardboard forever. Thank you Zappos! Loved them so much that I ordered a back-up pair.

Yay, now I can wear pointed shoes. I bought these in wide even though I wear medium width, and these are quite comfortable. The only small problem is that the sole of the shoe at the toe doesn't go all the way to the pointy tip, and after just two wearings, the leather at the tip was showing bad wear. I had to take it to my shoe repair shop and have the rubber sole extended farther.

Ouch! On so many levels! I ordered this shoe because the style looked attractive to me. An immediate return.

I'm a standard 10 medium width. This shoe fits great! Love the red color; very traditional (not too pinky in tone). Great value.

I wear a 10.5 which is hard to find but these fit very well. They have a heel gel insert which is cool! No rubbing on the heel but it is a little tight on the outside toe area. They are leather so this could be stretched. Overall 5 stars. Comfort 3 stars because my fourth toe is hurting. Style 4 stars only because plain black shoes are not that exciting.

Most crib shoes do not stay on, but these actually do! I needed shoes to keep socks on my daughter's feet since she always kicks off socks. She has only kicked these shoes off once or twice and only when she is really upset and moving around a lot.
