The mid-brown Sergio is my favorite
dress shoe, due to head over heels attraction to the color and to Magnanni's incredible fit to my feet. The color is darker than the photo, and very subtle. I put Topys on these because I was concerned about the delicate midsole/sole getting nipped by walks on concrete - especially with the long toe, the sole tends to chisel upward easily at the toe tip. Out of all three of my Magnanni's, the mid-brown is my favorite color - with reddish hues and Magnanni's delicate construction, I am in awe. They are not the compliment-grabbers the cognac color is, but it's 10x as complex, easier to pair with other colors, and looks more reserved. The dark tones hide the complex stitching somewhat, and makes the shoe less showy which I like tremendously.
