I have been very satisfied with
pur minerals for quite a few years now. The company itself is a bit difficult to navigate. They recently mailed me a buy one get one coupon and when I tried to access it I was denied. Several emails to the company went unanswered. A phone call was accepted and after hearing my story the employee said I must get back to you when marketing decides what they are doing. No one ever came back to me. Time ran out on my amazing coupon. I really feel neglected and annoyed as a loyal customer. That is why I am ordering from Zappos from now on. They never ignore my questions and seem to value me as a customer. I still like
Pur Minerals but their customer appreciation policy stinks.

I was a hardcore Bare Minerals fan up until about a year ago. I found that it started to dry my skin out and was giving me an uneven skin tone. I picked up the trial kit of Pur and have been hooked ever since. They have a wide variety of colors and in a sleek pressed compact. This stays on my skin all day and doesn't make me greasy or flaky like BM. Make sure you purchase their brush. It is perfect for getting in all the nooks and crannies of your face.

Great product that provides excellent coverage without the "cake" look. I'm Asian and have a sort of medium beige/golden skin tone. It's hard to describe color, but in relative terms, I'd fall somewhere in the middle between dark and light skinned Asians. This product works well as a foundation and concealer, especially for people like me who are prone to oily skin. I never really wore makeup when I had bad acne, so I can't say how well this would work, but I do occasionally have breakouts now and this works really well. I'd recommend it!

I wanted a last minute basic makeup collection for my face and ordered the pür 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup. The compact 8 gram size is very substantial in size and quantity of product. The powder looks fine milled so I anticipate that with daily use this makeup/powder/concealer/SPF 15 will last me at least six months. I had makeup on when my package arrived but have stubborn red areas on my face and age spots that needed muting. I am Native American with a medium tan/olive toned skin and opted for the Light Tan shade. This worked fine on the red areas and the spots but is too light for Summer and Fall use, so I will be ordering the next shade darker when Spring arrives. The base of this shade is neutral so there is no orangey or yellowish tone after hours of wear. I have mature, combination skin yet this powder did not cake, travel, or make my face look like a road map. As a matter of fact, my oily T-zone was not oily after wearing this powder for five hours.
Along with this purchase I ordered the pürminerals Start Now! 5-piece
Beauty-to-Go Collection and the pür Brow Pefection (brow powder and shaping wax). The to-go kit is pefectly sized to fit in my travel case when I fly up north this week. Subsequent reviews will follow as I use these additional purchases.

I've been a Bare Minerals die-hard since they first arrived on the scene during 2am informercials about 13 years ago. As other companies tried to copy the idea I've tried almost every other brand and never liked them enough, or I found them to be lovely but too pricey and they never last as long (Raw Natural
Beauty, for example). But this is amazing! I love the cleaner compact, no loose powder to worry about, the porcelain works beautifully on fair skin, the coverage is great without it feeling heavy or drying and I also love Pur Radiance. That gives a lovely glow and subtle sparkle after using this. But I'm hooked, this product is wonderful.

I switched from Bare Minerals to Pur about six months ago and have been very happy with the choice to try this product. It covers well for me and doesn't feel heavy like Bare Minerals would have a tendency to do. I also like that it isn't a loose powder making it a cleaner product to use.
