I wrote a review a week or two ago stating that the where wearing quickly, but still gave them 3 stars. I'm lowering that now, because It's been a month and it's gotten worse much worse. I've got holes in that fabric on both near my pinky toe, and the rubber in the front is coming undone.

The shoe is super comfy and looks great. But, this is a really big but, a hole on the side of shoe appeared in less than 2 months of normal use. Thank goodness I bought them from Zappos and was allowed to return them.

Absolutely loved the shoes when I first wore them, but the fabric quickly deteriorated. After only a month of moderate use, the shoes started to tear at the sides. Extremely disappointed.

These fit true to size and are very easy on the eyes! I love the red! Started using these for Crossfit Metcons and have been working well for me.

Look great and feel great, but I've only had them a month or so and my pinky toe is already wearing through. There's no reinforcement in that part of the shoe to reduce wear.

These are like high-tech slippers, the Minimus has a running-shoe aesthetic and a very thin profile. It is very comfortable if you are used to minimal shoes. If you are used to shoes with more significant arch support, it is probably better to work towards the minimal design more gradually, I used one of Newton Running's transitonal shoes and thought that worked really well. After wearing the Minimus for a while, I would not want to go back to clunky sneakers. The sizing on the MT20v2 is much bigger than the same number size on the old MT20, but more in line with sizes elsewhere in the industry. I wear an 8 usually. In the MT20v2, I wear an 8EE. In the prvious MT20, I wore a 9½EE (which was a hair long). 8½EE in the MT20v2 is significantly longer than 9½EE in the original MT20. They are true to fit based on industry standards, small based on New Balance's previous standards. I am saddened that the plain black-and-grey color no longer seems to be offered, the new black-and-grey has colored soles that I do not like.

I bought the MT20v1's last year and loved them. They fit like a glove right out of the box and I did a conditioning workout with them. I just got the MT20v2 and I am disappointed with them. I expected the same fit like a glove feeling with heal pad and considerable sidewall comfort, but it lacked in all of that. They are rough feeling and not that comfortable. Keep in mind I don't wear socks though. I didn't run in them bc I wanted to return them (tongue was improperly sewn). I did put the on and the sole feels good still. If you wear socks then I wouldn't see much of a problem, but for me I think that the v1's are better than the v2's.

Great shoes. I use them for running on pavement and trails. The soles are thick enough to keep thorns from poking through and thin enough to let you feel the terrain. Using them for a half marathon this weekend. I had to (re)order a full size smaller than I had for the MT20 V1.0 but still went with the wide model.

I purchased a pair of New Balance MT20v2s for CrossFit. Over the past couple of weeks they have proven to be an outstanding pair of minimalist shoes. They are unbelievably comfortable for everyday wearing, as well as high intensity training (body weight, weight lifting, or running). I have recommended the MT20s to anyone that inquires about the shoes. If you are looking for minimalist shoes for running, CrossFit, or just everyday use, get a pair of New Balance MT20v2's!

I am not normally one to write a review but I am a big fan of this shoe so I thought I'd help anyone else mulling it over. I buy a lot of the 990 NB for running. I liked the look of this shoe to wear for casual use (not training) and they are really comfortable. I was waiting for some kind of problem with the interior stitching but never materialized. I have a narrow foot but went with the 2E because I like some breathing room for my dogs. I have worn them for some long walks and they are very comfy.

These are Frye boots at the best. 1) They fit great. 2) Just walk the walk. 3) Look exactly as pictured (4) are so, so, so comfortable! (5) They age like a fine wine. 6) Superb for any age. 7) Fryes at their best." what more could you ask? More and more Fryes. I like the heel height and will always have a pair of Fryes on my "wish list." just go for a pair. The question will be asked, "can you kick it, yes you can. My top five purchases. Ever.

I bought a pair of Frye Campus 14L boots about 8 years ago and I still wear my boots as often as possible. I get the heels redone every other year (I walk hard) but the leather shaft and sole last like dream. I definitely recommend sizing a 1/2 size down. I didn't know this and bought my regular size. I have to wear sole inserts and somewhat thicker socks. These boots are sweet and will last you years! Don't forget to size down a 1/2 size.

Know how you see a celeb photo & think "Those are perfect boots. Wish I could find them (& afford them!)" Voila! This is it. I have this boot in Banana & Black. Both are show-stoppers! Gorgeous! Somehow the web-page photo doesn't capture the stunning beauty of the boot in-person! Leather quality is thick & luxuriously "tanned". Heel is high enough, but is flat - not "pitched" - meaning that although it's a 2" heel, your heel sits flat, not "tilted." So, you avoid the problem of your forefoot & toes getting jammed down into the front of the boot, but you still enjoy the sexy look of a mid-heel. A timeless investment. No need to size down - order your regular size. Will fit a wider foot comfortably too. Completely makes any outfit. So comfy, I've literally dozed off in mine (at the end of the day). I receive a lot of compliments on these boots. I'm a Master's level professional in Northeastern US, where Frye boots, as officewear, are not commonplace. These boots are so versatile, & they just ooze luxury, quality & richness! I'm told that I am regarded as having a "rich" wardrobe, but only because I stick to fabulous, quality basics! If you're on the fence, definitely this is the one Frye boot that is a must-have! I have a half-dozen pair of Frye's & am buying more! Thanks for reading.

I bought the dark brown and they are beautiful. I have been wanting a pair for a long time and could not decide on the style or color that I wanted. So glad that I went with the campus style and the dark brown. Perfect boot in every way. I was leery about the size and others stated they ran a 1/2 size too large. I decided to order my regular size and they were perfect. Little snug in the width mid-foot but one day of wearing that they were just right. You cannot go wrong with these boots.

I'd never spent this much money on any pair of shoes, but I can say these are my favorite purchase ever - after buying a pair last year, I even treated myself to a second pair in a different color this year. A city dweller, I walk everywhere and the Campus boots have proven to hold up nicely. They're super comfortable and I get tons of compliments on how cute they are. I recommend getting 1/2 size smaller than usual, and be sure to treat them with leather cream once in a while. I believe they also need to be re-soled maybe once a year, though I haven't done that yet.

What a pleasure! I am a typical size 8; but have lately needed a wide shoe. As a result I usually order an 8 1/2 in a shoe if I cannot get a "wide" in an 8. When I ordered the Frye boot, I took a chance and ordered a regular 8. Knowing that Zappos always honored returns, I figured no harm, no foul. When the boots arrived, I was very pleased to find out that the 8M was a perfect fit. The quality in these boots are fantastic; they will certainly last a lifetime. The leather is pliable and the boots are already conforming to my feet. If you have any hesitations about size, I would suggest you go with your normal shoe size. You can always exchange them with Zappo's excellent policy.

I love these boots. They are such amazing quality. Very beautiful and pretty comfortable. I have wide toes and they get a little squished by the boots. Also, there is a scratchy seam in the leather at the top of the boot, but a friend told me that a little bit of moleskin applied over those spots will help.

These boots were very popular in the 1970s, when I was in high school. I'm happy to say they're still made with the same style and quality as they were back then! I ordered my usual size, and the fit was perfect for me. There was even a little extra room to fit my orthotics. I like to wear a medium-weight knee sock with boots, and they felt nice and comfy with my favorite socks. This is a well-made boot that should last the wearer a lifetime. Perfect with jeans or a below-the-knee skirt. You can't go wrong with Frye boots!

I love these boots. I did have to go a half size down though. Started with my regular size but the boots stretched after a couple of wears. The color is beautiful and they are quite comfortable.

I was so excited to receive my Frye Campus 14L boots yesterday (in banana), as I too have been coveting these babies for a few years before making the purchase a couple days ago. Unlike a lot of reviewers, I ordered my usual shoe size (an 8M) because my feet are a little on the wide side. When I first put the boots on, I thought they were a little too loose in the heal area and decided to exchange for a 1/2 size smaller. But after trying them on again with socks and realizing that everywhere else beside the heel felt quite snug and the heel slippage was much less with socks on, I decided to keep the size 8's and am proudly wearing them right now as I type this. I simply love these boots. I have muscular calves but have no problem with tightness in that area. These are my 2nd pair of Frye boots and consider these an investment for my feet.
