Cute shoe and very comfortable, but I agree with the reviewer who said the ankle strap is far too big -- at least 3/4" too large. Only if you have very large ankles would this shoe fit. The red is more like fuchsia or hot pink, rather than the color pictured.

I love these shoes. I ordered them in my usual size and they fit everywhere but the elastic strap at the heel, which was too baggy. So, I took them to the shoe repairman to have the elastic shortened. Totally worth it! These shoes are beautiful and comfortable.

Just got these shoes and wore them for the first time today. All day. Usually I peel my shoes off when I come
home but not with these. After walking around for 9 hours they were still super comfortable. Out of the box onto your feet. No rubbing, no blisters, no getting used to them. Just perfect. Well worth the money. I'll be saving up for another pair! Did not have any problems with the straps like others wrote.

I love the heel height and they fit my semi-wide foot with a high arch very well. Definitely order at least a 1/2 size down. Even at 1/2 size down they are a smidge long, but it doesn't bother me. I find them very comfortable and the light tan color goes well with so many things. I've had no blisters or discomfort, right out of the box.
Gentle Souls shoes are always a winner for me.

The style of these shoes is fantastic, very sophisticated and modern. They are also quite comfortable right out of the box, despite the loose back strap. A simple repair (like taking in the back elastic) would probably take care of it. I will be bringing them to a shoe repair place rather than returning them.

Just received it tonight. Love it. It is so chic. I have high ache, but this shoe fits nicely. What a pleasant surprise.
Strongly recommend if you want to looked chic and classy at the same time.

I just received this shoe. I love the style, but found that the ankle strap was too large as was reported by other reviewers. I debated whether to send it back, but have decided to take it to the shoe repair and have the strap shortened. I hope that I can still get it on my foot. I do love the style. It's too bad that it's not tighter around the ankle, because it's a heavy shoe that needs to fit firmly.

When I read the reviews about the ankle strap being big, I thought, maybe these will fit me. I am big boned, I have wide feet, and actually have thick ankles. When I opened the box, I was so excited because they looked really cute. I put them on and they were the correct size in the foot bed...but the ankle strap was huge ! The minute I put them on and walked around, they flopped up and down because the ankle strap does nothing to keep the
sandal in place. It drove me crazy. I can't imagine them fitting anyone with normal ankles. It was just weird. These were quite a bit more expensive than any other
sandal I own, but I thought if they fit right, they would be worth it. So, of course, they are going back.
