All-polyester fabric with just a little hint of stretch. Functional pockets. Velcro and eyelet stringed-ties at the waist. I'm 5'2, 110lbs and have a little junk in my trunk so these medium shorts look like they were painted on me, yet they are still quite comfy.

These are adorable, I love the length. However, exactly like in the photo, they bunched up in front, perhaps because of the pockets. They ended up looking kind of poufy for that reason and I decided to return them. They are also small in the thighs. I am a generally thin person but the XL just barely fit me. I like the fabric and the piping, and the placket is really clever, there is a special lining to make sure the velcro doesn't eat your swim suit bottoms.

I am roughly 5'9" and weigh roughly 120-123. I based my decision to order a medium on previous reviews from girls around my weight that said that a medium was too small or either fit perfectly. A medium was way too big on me. Perhaps I should have counted the fact that I am significantly taller than the other reviewers. Am going to return for a small because these are very cute. Girls I would say go with your gut feeling when it goes for size, I wish I would have.

These were very cute, but the right leg opening was smaller than the left, so much so that my leg was pinched. Having to send these back.

Based on other reviews, I originally ordered a medium in black (I'm 5'7, 112 lbs), and they were enormous. So I ordered the XS in white, and they are incredibly tight, but still wearable, however it seems like the sizing in these is very inconsistent from color to color. I'd advise ordering two sizes of whichever ones you want. Besides that, the velcro closure is slightly awkward and not my favorite design, but I love the shorter length and that they do not cut into your thighs (and mine are muscular enough that they would, so the combo of tightness without bulges is a nice one!). I just have no clue how to recommend sizing, the difference between the medium and xs was so vast.
