These shoes are adorable, and I love that I can wear them on nicer occasions. Other reviews, however, that the toe box lacks depth are absolutely accurate. The leather piping around the top edge of the shoe really pinches the front of my foot. I decided to keep the shoes because I really needed nice flats that could replace heels - and heels hurt too. But these are not as comfortable as Taryn Rose is usually given credit for.

These shoes are so darn adorable that it was actually painful to have to send them back. But the other reviewers are correct. The way the toe box cuts into the top part of the foot is unendurable. And what a pity. These shoes are super-well constructed and packed with care to preserve the feminine shape of the bows. But I knew from the moment I put them on that they were not made for me. I even had my 11 year old daughter try them on. She wears two shoe sizes smaller than I do and even she could not stand the way the top of the shoe pressed down into her toes. So if you have freakishly thin feet (and I mean thinner then an 11 year old), then these shoes will be perfect for you. For the rest of us, we just have to keep looking.

Love Taryn Rose for their comfort, these were not comfortable at all, tight along the toes. Don't know if a bigger size will work, will try.

I purchased a black low cut and received next day and the have shoe laces. Month later I order a brown slip on, no laces. So far I've only used once as they look good but a quarter inch too long in the back. Slip up and down in back. I may try them again to see if they feel any better. I feel good knowing if necessary I can return them.
