First impression out of the box, very impressed! I always get nervous ordering online without seeing an item in person, but the color is nice, more of a chocolate brown than a burgundy. I was worried that the stripe might be really bright, but it's not. I am normally a size 9.5. I ordered a 9 and it fits perfectly. The only thing that may be a problem is that the tops of the boots are very tight around the ankle. I don't think ordering up a size would have changed this and maybe it will not be as noticeable with socks. They look cute with jeans, I don't think they stand out too much. My husband doesn't love them, but that won't matter when I get to work in the morning with dry feet! I have been looking for something practical for slushy MN weather, and these are perfect because I can use them both in snow and in rain. I recommend these!

Runs rather small. I wear a 7 but I'm exchanging them for a larger size.

For the first month I loved this shoe like no other. It looks amazing and I can wear it with anything. It was comfortable, and, most importantly, it was rain-proof! By the second month, however, I was having regrets. This shoe isn't breathable at all, and the sweat made my feet wetter in the boots than out! And at the end of the second month, after wearing it only once or twice a week, the outsole tore, making the boots rain-proof no more. It seems like they aren't durable at all. It's a shame, since I had such high hopes for these supposedly durable, rain-proof, and stylish boots.
