I wanted these to work so bad, they are so well made and the olive color was perfect for my khaki pants. They wouldn't stay on my feet! It's not the shoe, it's my feet, I have a very high instep and rarely can I find a backless type of shoe that will stay put. I was sorry to have to return them.

I really, really wanted this shoe to work for me. It just didn't have enough support. If you don't have any foot issues, I'm sure it would be great. It is so cute...I just needed more arch support.

So cute! Would love to keep it if I could just keep it on my foot when walking. There is no arch support and no way to add some. Too bad but I think it will have to go back. A shame because it would be really comfortable with a little arch support which could have helped the wearer keep it on the foot.

These shoes are comfortable in a bedroom slipper sort of way. They have no arch support and are a little difficult to keep on your feet. I didn't return them because they are comfortable and cute; they just feel more like wearing flip flops, not a structured shoe.

Nice pair of shorts, very comfortable, good length and will buy in the other colors.

For a guy with your typical Asian build who tries to overachieve with a little bulk, I think Hurley is a perfect choice in terms of shorts for me. They hang to just below the knee and they're a great fit, although I did have to get one size smaller than what I usually get in pants/shorts from other brands. The snap buttons are perfect for retrieving items from leg pockets and back pockets quickly. I do wish that the front pockets were a little deeper. My 2nd pair of Hurley shorts and it probably won't stop there.

Unfortunately, I found these shorts to be more of a dark navy blue than a true black. Other than that they are nice shorts, just not black.
