I almost feel bad reviewing these
boots so positively, because as far as I can tell, they are completely sold out everywhere. But I love them so much that I have to say so! These are gorgeous, gorgeous
boots - I have looked high and low for the perfect pair of knee-high, low-heeled, brown leather riding
boots (including ordering, and subsequently returning, 4 different pairs of
Frye boots to Zappos) and nothing compares to these. The leather is gorgeous, the dark brown shade is perfect, the heels don't slip, and the toes don't pinch. They are not cheap, but they look like very high end
boots and it's obvious that they'll last forever. And, if that weren't gratifying enough, I get stopped everywhere I go by at least one person wanting to know where I found these. Size wise, I'm between a 7 and a 7.5, and while most Fryes fit better in a 7, these were perfect in 7.5. I have average sized calves and there's plenty of room for my
jeans, but not so much room that the
boots look sloppy. Like I said, perfect
boots!
