This is a comfortable shoe. It's definitely not a skate shoe. Skating these would be worse than skating vans. However, they are great for casual wear. Note: the gum sole is a much lighter color than shown.

I love Chaco. They are comfy and durable. A thong with arch support! As with my previous pair of leather Chacos, these seem to run a bit smaller than the nylon strap flips. I got these in a 9 which is also listed as EU size 40 when I am usually an 8 or 8.5 and EU 38 or 39. I do have a somewhat wide foot but it was also a length issue for the size 8 -- my heel was coming off the back. My Chacos with a nylon strap (purchased a couple of years ago) are a size 8 and they are fine.

These are well made, comfortable sandals with excellent support. I love to support Chacos because they really stand by their products. After 15 years the sole on another pair of Chacos I had came apart. I sent them back to the company and they repaired them for free. That is unheard of these days, especially for a 15 year old pair of sandals! So I always feel safe purchasing Chacos.

The best flip-flop on the market. This is my second pair - my other ones finally gave out after 5 years. Love the comfort and support for feet that need a little extra tlc.

Great shoes and great support. They look nice too. I wear the leather with pretty much any outfit. They did take a little while to break in, especially in the toe area.

Love the feel of the sole underneath. The leather strap needs some wearing in.
