The arch support is great, and the dimensions of the shoe seem appropriate. However, after enjoying wearing the shoes indoors several times, I wore them for the first time climbing the paved hills in San Francisco today, and had difficulty with the back strap slipping off my ankle several times, after which the shoe began to slip off my foot. So I'm a bit disappointed that they'll be relegated to indoor-only status.

This is a very nice shoe and it fit fabulously comfortable. Unfortunately, the strap in the back kept slipping down, not sure if it's because I have a small foot (size 5)? Worth a try.

This sandal would rock the sandal community... if the darn thing would stay on one's foot! One test step and the goober slipped right off my heel. Great elastic concept in theory, though!

Such a bummer. These shoes are really cute and comfortable. But like many of the other reviewers have said, the back strap slides right off the minute you start walking. If I were to go down a size, the shoe would be way too small and my toes would hang off the front. Returning these.

What a comfortable and very supportive shoe! When I first walked in these shoes, I thought they were too tight all around. However, I quickly came to the conclusion that I was so used to loose, unstructured shoes (and going barefoot) that I did not know what real structure and support felt like. This is the shoe for you if you need a lot of support and shoes that do not wobble around your foot. Plus I get many compliments on my 'cool shoes'.

This is cute shoe on. It will not work for me because the back strap pushes my foot too far forward.

Keep in mind these are fabric uppers so these may not stretch like a leather would. I am an 8.5 but usually get a 9. I ordered a 8.5 and they are on the long side and if you have a slightly wide foot due to weight or a chubby foot, your foot may not slide in all the way. If that is the case and you want to keep them I would try breaking them in daily at home and then decide! They are super cute and worth it if you can find a deal on them. I found mine on the Zappos 6pm site. Hope this helps! As far as the elastic band if you do not have a tiny skinny heel area you should be fine.

This is a cute shoe except that the toe area is a great deal more slanted than in the picture, at least in a size 10. If you toe area is more square than these will not work. The back strap does come off immediately as other reviewers have said. I thought maybe I could fix that but the toe problem was too much.

Great foot bed, but straps are way too tight. Cut off circulation after trying so hard to make them work.

As most of these reviews state, the shoes are gorgeous and I'm so bummed that I can't keep them! That strap in the back is a menace. It just won't stay on. I'm glad I found this out before I wore them out of the house and I could still return them. I have foot problems and it's hard to find a good looking sandal that is good for my feet as well. These would have fit the bill. A tad narrow and I had to order a size up.

EJ's full of it. These are 100% nicer than an allen edmonds. AE is junk in comparison...These are in line with prada and gucci and certainly magli.

This product is a real eye catching item. When I go to Nordstrom I always have to stop and admire the shoe I would buy it but just can't afford the price. I'm sure my wearing it would entice many men to own one. I guess I will lust have to keep salivating when I see it at the store.

Great look, good fit (although it runs a half size large). However, the finish is very easily scratched with natural/whitish leather underneath. The leather wasn't fully dyed--the finish appears to be only on the top layer. Not as high quality as Allen Edmonds or Alden.

Another stellar looking stylish comfortable shoe from To Boot New York. Tried many other more expensive brands but keep coming back to this brand.

Man I love this shoe in Bordo. Indoors, they look like a mix of blacks and reds. Outdoors, they turn bright red. They're beautiful and comfortable too. Traction ain't too good though, so I'd save these for when it's nice out. They felt slightly narrow, but I do have pretty flat, wide feet and they fit fine.

I bought this shoe in the Bordo color. The styling is right on. They go great with tapered jeans, skinny jeans, or your best suit. Matter of fact, with the addition of a pocket square, they make a boring 2-button monkey suit look electric. After reading some of the reviews, I would agree that the toe is a little longer than it looks in the initial product shot, and the varnishing look is do to the fact that it is stained over top of white leather. Anyone that has worked with Prisma Color markers should know what I'm taking about. I was a bit dissatisfied that these shoes didn't come with shoe bags, as most shoes in this price range do. But, I bought the Bordo Windsor's at a deeply discounted price and that makes this purchase well worth it. I would also agree with another review, that if you're going to spend this much on shoes, go with Allen Edmonds as an entry point. Their customer service and refurbishing program makes their shoes more of an investment. Plus, most of their shoes are made in the good ole' USA.

This is a beautiful shoe, I would call oxblood in color, which goes with pretty much every color. I have already received many complements, and after just a couple wears was very comfortable. true to size, I wear a 12. Agree with previous comment, toe is elongated, but not too much so. Just looks very classic

Honestly, this is a crazy amount of money to spend on a pair of shoes, but these were given to me as a gift. That said, this is likely the nicest pair of dress shoes I will ever own. The leather is surprisingly soft, and looks (and smells!) great. IMHO, To Boot nailed the style here: an updated shape with a classic wingtip design. They do seem to run just slightly large, and I'd prefer slightly more arch support.
