These are great kicks for your canine companion. I just ordered a 2nd pair, but not because we like them as much as we do. I have a Golden Retriever. We measured his paws to make sure we ordered the right size as directed. We ordered him a Medium. The front shoes are perfect but since his back paws are slightly smaller (in width) the shoes have a tendency to do a 180 while he's running. This means the fabric part is on bottom, not good. So I just ordered a pair of Smalls and we plan to keep putting the Med. on front but Small in back...and now we'll have "mismatched" 2 pairs. Ideally they would sell these things in pairs. In spite of the slightly loose fit on the hind paws, he has yet to have a shoe fall off on any of our adventures.

We (my dog and I) love our Ruff Wear Bark'n boots. The first pair I ordered was too big and I exchanged them effortlessly with the amazing customer service that Zappos always offers. My dog has sensitivity issues with both his back paws, but no problem with the new boots, he's walking and running through rough gravel with no pain. Yeah!

Great boots, good quality material, well made, much more durable than the average half price ones. I ordered them because I needed them and planned to use them, so I wanted good ones. I'm happy with my purchase. However, when the dog is actually wearing them, there is extra fabric that bunches on top of the paw, as it is bent at the ankle/wrist when the dog is standing, so I wonder if the design couldn't be a bit better, with a slight bend in the boot, but these are the best boots I've found. My dog is worth it.

Great shoes for any dogs needing protection and traction outdoors. We always used them while camping and dogs feet stay clean and safe from any foreign debris. Stays on pretty well,front fabric wears off but new style better stitched. Tried other brands, but found these the most durable and secure. Thanks Zappos for having them!

I purchased these boots for my 12 year old shepherd. They are well made. Nice gripper bottoms as to keep legs from slipping out from beneath the dog. We also use these in our Pet Lodge for clients that have older dogs... if your dog is part of your family, buy him the shoes. He will thank you!
