I admit I was first drawn to the name 'School Girl' (don't I wish!). They looked like they would be perfect this winter with knee or over-the-knee socks in cozy colors. But the shoe was too snug, especially since I'd be wearing it with thicker socks. Not only that, the shoe felt hard and boxy across the toes and instep, even though there was wiggle room there. (Hard as cement, and not worth going up a size.) I'm sending them back with regret, because they are cute shoes -- but just not for me.

Shorter than size marked, and also narrower. Unfortunate, because I love the style! I really could not judge the arch support because my foot did not fit correctly in the shoe.

Much nicer color in the flesh. Great comfort.

Love the shoes. Get compliments on them every day. Usual great Clarks quality and style. Would recommend.

The sole of these shoes is very weak. Do not use these shoes for driving. The back of the sole of mine was damaged after a day of driving. If shoes of this price are so fragile, why even bother make them?

As always, Clark's are super comfortable, and this shoe actually looks better in person and once it's been worn a couple days. The only problem is where the shoe's sole runs up and over the shoe. It looks like it's made to make it more waterproof -- covering the seams from sole to shoe -- but in reality it peels off leaving a dirty, ragged looking edge. It only took a week before it started peeling off which is a little disappointing. I'm thinking of just sanding the edge off to make it looker cleaner and less ragged because otherwise, the rest of the shoe is great. And as always, be ready for the sole to get dirty too. With the dirty sole and peeled off/dirty edge it definitely takes away from the overall look of the shoe. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem with these?
