Sizing/fit: I normally wear a size 8.5 to 9 in shoes. I ordered a 9 in these boots
, and they are just a tad small. They aren't tight at all on my wide feet, but seem a bit short (my toes touch the tip lining). I love that they have normal laces that you can tighten instead of those bungee cords that some boots
have. Appearance: They are a little cheap looking. As a reviewer said before, they look better in the pictures. I got the grey/slate/black color, and it's not my favorite. Warmth/durability: I live in MN, and so far have only had to wear these a couple of times in 30ish degree weather, in about 2-4 inches of snow. My feet were kept toasty warm each time (no exaggeration), which amazes me because I'm someone who is always cold. They are extremely lightweight when compared to the bulky Sorel
. I have worn them when walking the dog, and they are literally just as comfortable as wearing running shoes
. Overall: Worth the price. Not the most stylish looking, but comfortable to walk in and will keep your feet warm and dry. Hoping that they perform just as well when the temperature dips closer to zero degrees.
