As with most "burn-out" style tees, the fabric is more on the sheer side, but not see-through (unless you are wearing a totally different color bra underneath). I am 5 7 and 130 lbs and the small size is snug but not too small as the fabric moves and stretches to be form-fitting. I do not the the fabric-pull at the chest that many "too small" shirts do; I am 34D but with a small frame, so was pleased to find it snug but not immodestly so, I like this tee a lot. The medium size fit alright but was not as "sexy" or attractive as the more snug and form-fit small size on me. Very comfortable material.
