I have always had gigantic, wide, boxlike feet. When I was young, I wore whatever I needed to so that I could look good. But as I have aged I just can't stand uncomfortable feet. I sometimes dread formal events, of which I have to attend quite a few. I purchased these shoes in a nine and a half wide width, and have been gratified at the relative comfort they provide. They are an interesting shade, kind of a rosy gold. The picture is the true color, and I prefer the warmer tone with some of my
dresses. The ribbon was bent when they arrived, but has realigned with time and encouragement. I particularly appreciate these shoes because I stupidly sent them to an old address and Zappos retrieved them and resent them to me. So each time I wear them I feel lucky to own them. I am not giving them five stars because they are heels, and no heels are perfectly comfortable, but these are a not bad at all, and very pretty.
