Every time I open the lid, the entire can lurches from the weight of the lid, and the trash can scoots back closer to the wall.
It looks nice though.

Purchased for my son, he wanted a red garbage can for his room that he can put Spiderman decals on as on of his Christmas presents. It arrived Christmas eve with a huge ding that was about 6 inches long. I then exchanged it for a second one, it arrived a few days after Christmas, it too had about a 3 inch ding in. I don't know if it is just the garbage can itself that dings easily, it arrived in a perfect box so I assume it was like that before they packaged it. Zappos claims they inspect all items before shipping, however, it seems strange that I get so many damaged items if they indeed inspected each item properly.

This is a good looking garbage bin. I especially like the fact that it comes in so many color choices. I have personally owned the stainless steel/chrome finish for about 1 year and must say that it is not standing up to the test in my small bathroom. The finish is rusting on the lid and sides which is obviously a result of the cleaning products one uses in a bathroom coming in contact with the bin. The design of the bin also causes it to shift when one steps on the steel pedal and results in the annoying repositioning of the bin often.
