If you've ever purchased a
Munro shoe you know you're getting a good quality shoe.
Shoe is great, roomier toe bed. However not good for someone with a high instep, which is my reason for returning these shoes.

I really like
Munro American shoes and hoped this would be a good walking shoe. However, the tight instep prevented me from keeping them. It took considerable pressure with a shoe horn to put them on. Once on, they were comfortable but I'm afraid they will feel tight on top so I'm returning them.

These shoes are great if you have collapsed arches/flat feet (like me). The tight instep is supportive of a flat foot and the roomy toe box is wonderful. These shoes are amazingly comfortable and have the professional look that I need for work.

These shoes were classy, elegant, and fit perfectly and comfortably. I wear
Munro American shoes almost exclusively, especially for work. It doesn't matter what style I order, they always fit perfectly and fit the same. I own probably 25 different pairs of
Munro American shoes, and often purchase multiple colors of the same style. And they last forever! Great shoes!

My review is the same as Kathleen's. It took considerable pressure with a shoe horn to put them on. It's a shame as the toe bed is very comfortable.

The comfortable wide toe box, professional look, and solid construction all combine to make this one of my favorite shoes.

I like the look, and the toe box is very roomy, however it's tight right across the top and the heel pinches. I think a larger or wider shoe is just going to be too big.

These shoes are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. However, they were loose in the heel for me and slipped a lot even with a trouser sock and so unfortunately I have to return them. It makes me sad.

I ordered these shoes in a medium, then saw a review that said they were not good for high insteps. They were not hard to get on, but they were a bit tight across the middle. I swapped them for a wide, which seemed to be all right. However, the stitching on one of the elastic gores unraveled after four hours of wear. I returned them as defective, Zappos replaced them pronto, and I wore the new ones about five times before one of them did the same thing. My shoe repairman kindly told me that it happened because of pressure from a high instep, which he said also explained the top wrinkling sooner than expected. He repaired the one, and reinforced the other, and I hope it holds, because I very much like these great shoes that is not good for high insteps!

I had a similar
Munro style a few years ago which I considered the perfect shoe. This new shoe style fit feels so tight in the instep in proportion to the toe area. I have to return them.
