As for size, I have to disagree with most here who say they run small. The shoe itself is not small, once you get them on. And therein lies the problem. The hard shell that supports the heel is much bigger on these boots
than on most others. And because it run right next to the zipper, it leaves a very tiny gap to get your foot through - especially your ankle/heel (no laces on these, so there's nothing you can do to widen the gap). Once the boot is on, however (and you're going to need a shoehorn to get these on, believe me) there is plenty of room in the footbed - lots of room in the toe, nice snug width without being too narrow. The leather seems nice and I'm sure it will stretch after awhile, making it easier to get the boot on. Although I can't imagine even not needing a shoehorn with these - the space to get your shoe in is just that small. Style wise, these are a pretty rocking pair of boots
. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. Nice distressing on the leather. The metal studs and stitching are a great detail - enough to catch your eye, but not so much that it looks gimicky. And despite the total lack of arch support
, they're pretty comfortable (use an insole if you need the extra cushon/support).
