These boots are incredible. I have had the same pair for over 5 years, wear them all the time and they still look brand new. People constantly ask me where I got them! Worth every penny!

I got these boots for walking in central Mexico on very uneven cobblestones and love them. Great overall support without the bulk. I walk miles in these boots and prefer them to my walking shoes as they are more flexible. My feet don't feel tired after wearing these boots. They are very lightweight and comfy.

Cute boot especially those red snaps, but the leather is soft and the sole is so flat that it was like walking in bedroom slippers that are past their prime. There is no support or real comfort. Had to return them.

Great boots for everyday running around. I have a narrow foot and they are just right. They may be tight if your foot is wider. Also they run a size smaller.

Loved the look, but not the fit. I bought a darling pair of Camper ankle boots six years ago and have been looking for more ever since. This one did not deliver. But doesn't mean it won't deliver for you.

14 women hiked to the top of Kilimanjaro in these boots, 7 days, no blisters, no wet feet, warm toes. Awesome boots.

These boots are wonderful! Comfortable right out of the box -- needed no break-in period. I have a very narrow heel and a wide forefoot, so finding shoes that fit well is a challenge, but these fit the bill perfectly. These boots are one of three different brands that I ordered and the only ones I'm keeping. I ordered a half size larger than what I regularly wear to allow for thicker socks - and I couldn't be more pleased. As to the water resistance - well, we got 3 - 4 inches of very wet, slushy snow the day the boots arrived, so they got tested right away since I had to do some snow blowing. My feet stayed perfectly dry and warm during the hour or so that I was tromping around outside. The boots shed water like a duck! I will add that I had great traction in the slippery stuff, too. Great product!

These are great shoes but NOT true to size. They run about a half size small --unless you intend on wearing them with dress socks and not for hiking. I am a perfect 7 and the 7 hit my toes at the end; the 7.5 was perfect with the correct socks for hiking. It’s like walking on pillows. But order a half size up.

These are wonderful boots. I injured my achilles heal and was looking for a comfy boot to power walk on snowy streets. I love these and have received many compliments. I know I'll have them for years to come.

I adore these boots. I live in a very cold climate where there is much slush and snow. These have been great boots to own when I want more support than snow boots provide. They have been warm, completely waterproof and provide enough tread to make me feel safe on the street. I had been having some issues with plantar fasciitis and was a bit concerned because I had a trip planned to Europe that was going to require a lot of walking on cobble-stoned streets. I bought these boots to take with me and I never once thought about my feet while on this trip! I walked for hours every day on city streets and these boots provided so much comfort and warmth. I cannot recommend these boots enough! I love the color and also own a pair in the purple/blue color.

The Ahnu Montara Boot is just what I wanted - support, comfort and quality. The Zappos video helped with my selection by showing the flexible ankle feature. Best of all: the red color - so distinctive and adds fashion to utility.

I have finicky skinny feet, narrow heel, wide forefoot, and use orthotics for my pronating weak arches, so about 98% of all shoes made for women don't work on my feet. I ordered about 6 pairs of waterproof walking shoes to try out and this was the pair that I kept. Immediately wore them on a trip to Japan with tons of walking every day. Great boot! No break in time. Comfy from the get go with my orthotics, plus a pair of Spenco comfort insoles and Smartwool socks. Cute too! The color is great with my wardrobe. Some nitpicking: 1) the little D-rings that hold the laces tend to turn sideways or get torqued into funny positions. I can live with it. If you're not detail-oriented it shouldn't bother you at all. 2) The lighter citron color starts showing dirt pretty quickly, but since it's just an accent color it's not too bad. 3) These boots did loosen up/stretch out a bit, so I recommend starting with thinner socks and switching to thicker.

These boots are really quite comfortable. The ankle part is not too puffy and it fits well. I like the two hooks around the instead of one (harder to find than one might think) and even though I wear a 5.5 and the 6 is a little floaty it's good in case I want heavier socks. The ankle part holds my toes from bumping into the shoe when I go downhill. The soles are grippy and even though I use them primarily for walking in the woods and it's good that they are a pretty color too. pleasantly surprised to finally find a comfortable hiking boot for a good price.

I am very happy with these shoes. I have already worn them through ice and snow and my feet stay dry and comfortable. Traction is great as well. I absolutely love the color!
