Thanks to catastrophic climate change, the shipment that contained these boots was delayed by the October snow that hit Boston. And, since then, the temperatures have hovered in the 60's. Still, they look great and my daughter loves them. They are not as snug around the top as the Ecco boots she had last year, which means that she can wear them equally comfortably over tights, leggings, skinny jeans or wider things like yoga pants or boot cut corduroys. The boots were pricey, but I think they're more versatile and practical than something like Uggs, which she has also had before.

I really loved this skirt, but there is a big problem with the sizing works. I usually wear a Small/6 so I ordered that, and it was tiny. I sent it back and tried the Medium, and that was still too small! Since I liked it so much, I tried one more time and ordered the Large, and this one was still too small again! (Actually, I think the Medium and the Large were the same, and both were much smaller than a typical size small.) I am not sure if this is a problem with the skirt itself, or if Zappos was sending me the wrong sizes - I think it was the skirt itself (which has no size tag), because the packaging did indicate the size I had ordered. It is really too bad, because the fabric and the style are really lovely. I would try it again if I I had some way of knowing that it would fit me.
