Be careful! These shoes are not for everyone...and they weren't for me. I weigh about 175 and there just was not enough guts in these shoes for me. I wore them for a couple 3 milers and my feet were aching for a few days. I am sure for light runners these shoes are great. They are ultra light and well built. They just did not work for me.

I cannot say enough good about these shoes after using them on varying training runs and races from 5k to marathon. I got about 1,000 miles out of a pair of WU3s and these are a great replacement. The 4 seems to be nearly the same, with the two mesh layers swapped (smaller mesh, red on the WU3, is on the outside now, and more open mesh, white on the WU3, is on the inside). They feel just as light as the WU3s. They are wonderful racers and last significantly longer than I expected them to.

These are really great shoe I use for walking. I was looking for shoes in addition to KSOs and had mixed feelings about the
Saucony Kinvara. The
Mizuno is very comfortable, extremely light, and effortlessly helps walking the right way.

Eh, I get a lot of comments on the color, like "holy orange." I have never had a more comfortable
running shoe, since I have
girl's feet...high arch and narrow.

These shoes are very light, yet seem well made. Minimal heel lift, and minimal cushioning. Mizuno's sizing tends to run large, with a wide toe box.

Awesome shoes! Very comfortable and made my stride more relaxed. Only downside is that they probably won't last very long with all the fast miles I'm putting on them! They're very skinny so not much there to wear away. Note - these were a half size different than my previous Wave Runners, which I have worn for years.

Very lightweight and great color! I ordered 8.5W which fit fine barefoot, but when I put
socks on too tight at toes. Would need 1/2 size larger and it isn't available - bummer.

I'm a long time runner and by most standards, on the faster side. I have run in Wave Riders for years in both training and racing mostly because I haven't found a lighter alternative that fit. I have a high arch, wide foot and as a consequence am a forefoot runner. I really like these because the fit a wide foot and are firm on the underside. Usually light shoes are soft and you can feel every pebble stepped on but no these. My new favorite shoe.

Sizing description is incorrect. 5.5 really is a women's 5.5, not a man's 5.5 equala woman''s 7. If you're a woman's 7, order the 7! Since this is my 3rd version of this model, I should have known better when I ordered my latest pair.

I wanted a pair of light shoes in black/red and these shoes were a perfect fit. They are light as a feather - they don't have any
arch support but my marathon runner friend told me that if I could wean myself off shoes with
arch support, my feet would do better long term.
