If you're reading reviews online for flip flops, you obviously care enough not to be satisfied with the first pair you see hanging near the check-out line at your local pharmacy. Scott's are made well, and made to last. Their relative simplicity is their strong suit. You won't find a bottle opener in the sole, or a mini flask in the heel that's guaranteed to break in 6 months. Nor will you find construction materials like beer can cozies or
yoga mats. These slippahs are bit heavier than some other models, but I take that as a sign of quality. The heel cup holds your foot solidly in place, no side to side slop, and no "toe creep" where you find your toes 2 inches off the front getting burnt on asphalt or cut by lava rock. Scott's truly shine when wet because they perform just like they do when dry, you foot just stays where it needs too without slipping. I own two pair of Scott's and I'd have more if they didn't last so damn long. I'm on year 6...and I live in California where
flip flop days are many a year. If you're looking for quality at a reasonable price, look no further (just don't plan on opening a beer with them).
