I like this boot, but the heel is a little higher than I anticipated. Great style, but I'm looking for more of a winter, snow-ready boot. They claim to be waterproof and would probably hold up well in the snow, but I'm worried about the heel height. They also feel slightly large in both the calf and the length.

These are great with leggings and knee
socks. They're comfortable, and I could wear them every day!

Like all
La Canadienne boots, these are gorgeous and well made. They also have relatively slim calf, which is awesome, as
boots are always swimming on my legs. When I first tied them on I was gushing to my husband, "Look! Perfect
boots! they fit my calves! They are so comfortable! So hip!" But a few weeks have gone by, and I haven't worn them yet... not sure why. It might be something about the color of the sole and the suede looking slightly odd with the platform. I'm not sure. But these are beautiful, comfy
boots that will fit a slim leg fabulously. I could do without the weird lacing on the side, too.

I had to send these back because they didn't fit my wide calves - a common problem for me. But they were beautiful - very nice suede, good detailing and very comfortable in the foot. I would have loved to keep them - they're a definite winner!

Beautiful
boots that actually fit my narrow calves without gaping. However, I wish the
boots were taller. Only go to the middle of my calf (and I'm only 5'2 and wear a size 7). Probably will keep only because it's so hard to find
boots that fit my legs snugly. Also, these are extremely comfortable. I own a pair of
la Canadienne short
boots that look great a year later and have been great for winter weather. Worth the high price, even more so if on sale!

These
boots are gorgeous -- color, heel, leather, style. However, too tight in the calf, thus a no-go. I'm not super skinny, but also didn't think I had particularly wide calves, so I'm thinking they run narrow. Too bad.

I love this brand of shoe, I do. However, this boot was not worth the price. The chunky heal on both shoes, became unglued from the base of the shoe literally the first time I wore them. I was able to glue them back on. I find this unacceptable. Perhaps this brand got sold in the recent past and the quality has gone to heck! Not sure. I won't be purchasing any more of this brand, which is a shame, because I love the styles!

I own 2 other pairs of
La Canadienne Boots and I love them (Karisse and Kara). I have muscular calves and slightly wider feet. The footbed and shaft were much narrower than my other LC
boots. I gave 4 stars for style since heeled
boots look more flattering than the
wedge. But, if you want a really grippy sole and good stability, the
wedge is the way to go.

Wonderful boot. Have gotten lots of compliments. Expensive, but well worth the price. I have looked at other
boots, and didn't fit or give the same protection as these.
