This is a very sturdy, handsome, and comfortable boot. I hiked extensively through Southern Utah in this boot, and never once did my feet get tired, or sore. Break-in was pretty much the first time I wore them. That is to say, they required no break-in. Comfortable from day 1. They are well made and should last a very long time. Easily resoleable when the time comes. I would buy them again without reservation.
