Nice leather, true to size. The footbed sticks up a little high in the arch of your foot area and isn't very comfortable. I want good arch support but this is very hard. Shoe has a plastic heel cap which is noisy when you walk.

Love the styling, love the fit and most of all love the comfort. I put these on and wore them all day the very first day I got them. My new favorite pair of ankle boot!

I've been looking for a boot like this for some time now. Something that comes up just about 2 inches above the ankle, understated, yet classic and stylish, good quality leather. When I saw these online, the pictures looked great, the reviews were positive, and the price was great so I got them -- but I thought something would not be right. Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I received them! Soft, good, leather. Doesn't look cheap or cheesy. All of my boots are from J.Crew - I would put this in the same category with my other J.Crew boots in regards to style. I can't give it a full 5 stars for comfort. They are comfortable, I do have narrow feet, so these fit well. The footbed is not very cushiony, but I'm sure you could add some padding. The heel is plastic, so it is a little clacky when you walk. But overall - for the price and look, very worth it!

Dress them up, dress them down. I like to wear mine with cuffed jeans. Love these shoes. Fit is perfect with socks. I'm a size 8 and ordered it. Couldn't be happier.

Boots were true to color as described. Although when I put them on the nerve on the ball of my right foot hurt. I did not like the zipper on the outside of the boot.
