In reference to the above review and this shoe should not fit like the Evolv Royale or
Five Ten Hueco - both those shoes are designed with a very flat last and are meant for either very long, easier routes, or for more novice climbers. This is definitely a shoe designed to climb harder face and crack climbs, and should be sized as such. Definitely a more narrow fit than some of the other Evolv shoes, but the leather upper stretches more significantly as well. I have a pretty flat, wide foot, and these broke in really well, to where these are my go-to shoes for most sport routes. The downturn is not as significant as some other designs (like the Shamans), but works really well for everything from slabby routes to overhanging. d Most comparable shoe from another brand would be the Katanas from Sportiva.
