I just started jogging and doing P90X, and the lack of a good exercise shoe is taking its toll on my feet and knees (have been using cushioned "toning" shoes doing low impact stuff until now). I've been on the hunt for a workout shoe for my horrifically high arched feet that have horrific bony protrusions on the balls which makes wearing normal
running/walking/CT shoes horrifically painful. With
arch support, the balls of my feet burn in agony (so much for the revered
Asics); with inserted cushioning, I lose all sensation in them which destroys my balance. With
orthotics, I can at least endure for an hour if I switch shoe types mid-workout. Needless to say, I was on the verge of giving up hope of ever finding a comfortable shoe until I found this one. I wore this shoe today for 2 hours
running errands, WITHOUT
ORTHOTICS, and my feet were PAIN FREE the entire time. I then risked 30 min of step and high impact aerobics, and never once lost my balance. Pain started towards the end of the workout, but it wasn't the awful burning sensation... it was bearable. When I took them off for the P90X
yoga, I MISSED them. For the 1st time in weeks, I'm looking forward to my next workout because I might actually be able to push my muscles to the max instead of holding back because of my misshapen feet. BTW, I usually wear
wide shoes but bought this in regular and they were fine. This shoe ROCKS!!
