These fit on my bare feet right out of the box. It was a Wow experience. The arch support is the best I have experienced outside of Birks. I normally wear 7.5 M or W. Based on other reviews, I ordered both the 7.5 and the 8. While I could wear both, the 8 was more comfortable. It felt more stable in the ball of my foot. Also, if you want to wear socks, I suggest to go larger. I can barely get the 8s on over socks, but then, they are still new. But they are lined so socks aren't really a necessity. I love this shoe.

Love these. :) Very sturdy (a bit clunky even, but I like that) and comfy. Have them on all day, no problems. Skateboard to school in them- fine too. Nice arch support and soft fuzzy sheepskin. The inner sole is not removable, and it is very velvety, so it sort of pulls on the socks when I put the shoes on. But that keeps the feet from sliding around too much. The heel is wide, and my feet move up and down in a clog motion. Happiness! :)

I wear an 8 1/2, tried these shoes in 8 1/2 and 9, both were short, felt the same in length. The 9 was loose in the heel, so I could not wear either size.

A friend recommended Chacos to me for comfort. I have had two knee replacements and am always looking for a good fit and comfort. Put them on when they arrived and have trouble wearing anything else. Next pair of shoes will be Chacos too!

Warm, fuzzy, and all the great arch support you expect from Chaco! A little snug at first, but feel perfect after a couple of wears.

Really nice winter shoes. I wear Uggs and Birks a lot and to me, this seemed like a very high arch.

I love Chaco products. I wear size 7 in the sandal and pedshed shoes. My toes touched the tips of the size 7 Baa Nurl. They are well made, love the colors and materials. They are just a smidge too short.

These shoes were super supportive to my very problematic feet. Unfortunately, the 9's were huge, and my toe hit the end of the 8.5's. Plus, my heels slipped in both sizes. The look is what it is, and I like it. I also like the fact that they are completely flat, as in have a low heel. And the fur is extremely comfortable. It's not on the footbed, which is a very soft velvety suede. I would get these shoes in a heartbeat, especially on sale, if not for my toes hitting the end in the 8.5. If you gave a relatively high instep, they will probably fit you just fine. But my feet are very flat, flexible, and narrow, and they didn't work for me.

I love them! I purchased them after reading the reviews stating they had excellent arch support, and they do! Additionally, they are super warm, and look great with casual clothes. And of course, as usual, Zappos rocked the one day delivery!

I love the plain look of these, and the fit is heavenly. The fluffy insides are comfy and quite warm (they are fluffy on the sides/top but not the bottom, which is a soft supportive footbed). The fluff also keeps any spots from rubbing (like on the heel/achille's area which rubs when I wear my Chaco Gunnison's).

See below. These are true to fit in length (numeric size) but not in width. Other posters are right about fit and the sizing of these is beyond quirky. I wear a medium width, but the EE (double W) width fits perfectly. Ordered the M and the WW, but never took the M's out of the box after trying on the wider pair. Be warned that even the WW are quite narrow in the ankle and shaft. The wide width in the footbed (is not a traditional 'wide') and does not translate to wide in the calf. They are actually quite narrow, with what looks like a very sleek and tailored fit. This is is perfect for my short legs and small calves, but anyone who needs a proportionally wide boot will be disappointed. If you find a width that works, your usual size in the wider version will fit beautifully. All the fit-quirks aside, these are possibly the most comfortable footwear I've ever worn, right out of the box. Thank you other reviewers for helping me anticipate the size thing, and thank you Zappos for free return shipping that makes it possible to try a couple of sizes.

I normally wear an 8.5, but needed an 8. I have a wide foot and 16.5 inch calf - these work beautifully! They're warm, stylish, and very comfortable. They look great with jeans, skirts, and dresses alike. They're not "dressy" but complement many outfits. They're expensive, but worth the investment.

Was nervous about spending this much for boots but so worth it. Will definitely buy more of this brand. I could walk miles in these boots, more comfortable than any shoe I have ever worn. Love them.

I am so thrilled to find this boot. Because I (a) am short (5'3") with a small calf and (b) have a bunion and require a custom orthotic inert, I have a hard time finding shoes that work, and an even harder time finding boots. But these boots are awesome. The are shorter and skinnier in the calf, which is perfect for me. And the wider, boxier toe is very comfortable for my bunion, and the removable insoles accommodate my custom orthotic perfectly. All this plus a cute style. I am ecstatic!

Bought this boot for a year in rainy London. Not much rain so far, but I love it already. The boot is comfortable, stylish and completely practical--the perfect combination. In general I find La Canadienne runs a little snug, so it is useful to order wide or wait for it to stretch.

These are amazing boots! I have chronic foot pain and need shoes that provide support (no flimsy soles) as well as cushioning. These offer both. My feet feel so good in them. Another major selling point is that the toe area is a square shape, so there is plenty of room for my toes. The patent leather is beautiful and the overall quality of the boot is very high. I am so happy to find these gorgeous, comfortable, fashionable, warm boots for fall and winter!

Oh my god, I love this boot. It is the most comfortable boot I have ever experienced. And it is exactly what I was looking for in an all-around versatile boot. Totally worth the high price, if I could have zipped them up. I guess my calves are bigger than I thought. Now I have to return them, but believe me, if there was any way I could have zipped them up, I would have done it just so I didn't have to return them. I am heartbroken.

Some other reviewers suggested getting a half size larger and I would agree. I usually wear a 7 1/2, but bought an 8 in these boots, and am glad that I did - especially in the calf area. Very comfortable for a full day of walking.
