Perfect. As a runner who does not have a typical runner's body i.e., I'm 5'4ish and 155 pounds. I have a lot of trouble finding shorts that are comfortable and don't ride up. Actually, I'd never found another pair until I found these. For me, these fit slightly below the waist (not truly low-rise, but not at the waist either), and the legs are indeed pretty loose, as another reviewer mentioned. For me, as someone who has fairly large thighs and who wants shorts to stay down when I'm running, this is a good thing. The lack of that extra space is exactly why I hate other shorts. The large fits me perfectly, and now it's either these shorts or long compression shorts for any warm-weather athletic activity. I've tried to find other brands that match up to these, but I haven't found anything as good after 4-5 years of searching. I highly recommend them if you are a curvy runner who has a lot of trouble with shorts riding up: while they still do it a little bit every once in a while, it's enormously better compared to any other non-compression shorts. (If you really want shorts not to ride up, get some 5 or 7 compression shorts, but these are a lot more attractive than those, and arguably more comfortable.) I also have a zillion pairs of these just for lounging around.

Great shorts! They magically don't ride up...ever. They dry quickly, they don't make that typical noisy "swooshing" sound, and they look great. I run 3 miles every day, and wouldn't run in anything else!

Love these shorts. We had to have them for band. I ordered one night at 8:00 p.m. and received them the next day before noon. I am not sure if that is the way it always is done but I could not have been happier. I will definitely to ordering from Zappos again!

This is the second of this style I've purchased. I've tried so many different shorts and these were the only ones that fit me well and were completely comfortable. My legs are short and these were the appropriate length.

These are a little bit baggy in the butt, but the liner inside is a good fit. I have a 34" hip measurement, and I bought a small. Other brands of running shorts that I have fit much better. Normally I think Nike products run a little small, so that's why I didn't go with the XS. These aren't my favorite shorts, but I won't be returning them either. They are comfortable and good for running.

I found this short to be very unflattering-the waistband cut into my sides while the rest of the short was loose and baggy. I like the fit of the Nike Pacer short so much better.

I am a man and I wear these women's shorts. In the 1970s we (boys) wore this exact same style in gym class, basketball team, track, and cross country. I wear them now when I run because they are comfortable. We have to be dry, too. I like the variety of colors (I won't get anything with pink in it). So you should market these for men as well as women.

If you are looking for perfect running shorts you have found them. These are my favorite shorts ever and even after being worn and washed many times they still feel and fit as well as they did the first time I wore them. They are expensive but I will never go back to cheap cotton shorts after finding these. The built in underwear is also a plus.

Great running shorts. I'm 5'1'' 100lbs and wear an XS. I do have to roll the top down once, but I find them to be very comforable.

Finally the perfect boot! These are the second pair of Frye knee high boots I tried. I originally bought the Paige; returned b/c the foot was shaped oddly and looked like clown shoes. These did take some work to get on, mainly b/c my calves are 16 and these are only a 15.5 and circumference, but I can definitely tell they'll stretch. The footbed is very comfortable from the get-go, even though I was nervous about having a heel, they're comfy. Not as tall as I expected, but I am 5'11 and my legs are long, so with the cuff up, they hit just below my kneecap. Per the other reviews, I did order a 1/2 size down and they are indeed just right.

I have these in black. I only wear these 'uncuffed' because cuffed, they are too piratey looking for my tastes. My only complaint is that I wish they had been stored/shipped uncuffed, because there is a fold line in the leather. At least it's not as obvious as the OTK Campus boots I tried (that fold line was horridly distracting). These are the perfect height for me; I'm just over 5'3". They just about cover my kneecap when the cuff is up, so I find they make my legs look longer. I've found that many OTK boots (usually at least 21" high) make my legs look shorter. The heel is just the right height, and the foot bed is comfortable. So, with the exception of that fold line, I'm absolutely in love with these. Oh, and I have larger calves, and don't have a problem getting these on and off. My calves do not fit in a lot of Fryes (Jackie Button, or Jane Strappy for example).

I ordered this boot in taupe. Both style and the color are beautiful, I can't wait to put them on! I wear a 7.5 and don't have wide feet, however I could barely get into the right boot and had to exchange for another pair in 8. It arrived today, but this pair has some grease and glue marks, which are pretty noticeable. I wish the warehouse did better inspection before shipping it out. I will have to exchange yet again for another pair in 8.

I love this boot. Every time I wear them I get tons of compliments. I'm currently purchasing my second pair because I'm so happy with them and want another color. I bought my first pair last year and they have survived the winter. I am not careful with my shoes and these boots are proving to be winter friendly. They have traveled to Seattle, Alaska, new york and even bar night in Vegas and still look great! I agree with other posts that they were a struggle to put on when they are new...like hopping around on one foot praying I you can get your foot through the ankle bend, then employing friends to help pull them off! But after about a month they have stretched and fit perfect. Fashionable and comfortable. Highly recommended! :)

I have been looking for knee high boots for a long time, but inevitably, the flat type makes me feel fat. I'm about 5'5", 130 lbs. with an athletic build. Not exactly skinny thighs. These boots give me a nice lift with the very wearable heel. They are not exactly over the knee, but at about mid knee. I can also scrunch them down a bit. I got the burnished brown. It is not as rich and dark as the picture, but I like them regardless. I bought a 9, even though sometimes I wear an 8 1/2. They are easy to take on and off considering I also have athletic calves that sometimes make things difficult to fit. I think I am in love.

These boots are gorgeous! I love the leather, the pebbling, the heel, the height, the buckle - they are pricey, but should last and last! High quality all the way. They do seem to run a half size small and are a bit of a challenge to pull on but that's expected with the height, I guess. Would highly recommend these awesome boots!

I have seen reviews that said these boots run large; I have seen reviews that the boots run small. I normally wear a 7 to 7.5. I ordered a 7.5 The boots were very hard to get on and off, and when on, they had too much room in the foot area. I then ordered a size 7. Oddly, the 7s are easier to get on and they fit perfectly! Love these boots! Can't wait to wear them.

These boots are beautiful, stylish, and well-made! I receive lots of compliments and love the color. The one thing I didn't like was the slick sole - so I went to a cobbler and had them add a soleguard to prolong the life of the boots! I am normally an 8, but always order an 8.5 in Frye.

While the color of these boots is not as dark as in the picture or what I desired, I must say this is a quality pair of boots. Excellent quality leather and really comfortable to wear. Would definitely recommend!
