Beautiful
boots, I do love them. I have medium to wide feet, high insteps and long toes. I ordered my regular size, and they seemed big. Got a half a size down and they were too small, and the shaft was shorter and tighter. I realized then that it was not that my regular size was too big but that for me, there is a lot of heel slippage. They should mold nicely to my feet, if I decide to keep them. My major issue with them is the price; they simply are NOT worth it. The shaft is unlined- yes, I know they are slouch
boots, but still. They are over priced, but I know that goes for all
Frye boots not made in the US (these are made in Mexico), but the price is really turning me off. I
guess I am just used to the classic, heavy, lined Fryes which are so much cheaper and which last forever. These seem a little flimsy to me. I doubt they'll hold up as long as my other Fryes. Might just wait till they go on sale, or maybe I'll just put them away for a few weeks and start wearing them when the sting's gone:)
