My son is 8 years old and will only wear Asics. This is the only style he will wear as well. The color combo is hip and cheaper than the other brands with a similar combo. Great arch support, laces well-made, flexible so he can run fast!

I bought these for my 6th grade son. Granted they are his only pair of school shoes, but he hasn't had them very long and they are not holding up as well as I'd expect. The rubber toe is peeling away from the shoe and the thinner fabric over the toe box is snagged and thinning. We always buy Asics or New Balance and this is the first time I've been disappointed.

My son is hard on his sneakers. We have found Asics to be the toughest out there. We switched to black a few years ago, they look nice longer and show less dirt.

Bought these for my 6 year old grandson less than 2 months ago. They are literally falling off his feet already! Even areas that don't touch the ground are frayed and tearing! If there was a zero rating, I would give them that.

These were everyday wear, not even used for sports and they completely fell apart in three months. Sides split open on both shoes, front rubber peeled off - terrible disappointment

The boot has a nice distressed look, the heel is not too high and it has a hard to find circumference of less than 11 inches.
