We were thrilled with the performance and quality of this product. We have two Bernese Mountain Dogs that weigh almost 100 lbs each, neither have spent time in the water before so we were concerned about them swimming and our ability to pull them out of the water onto the boat. The handle on top is extremely sturdy and we had no issues at all lifting them. We bought a Medium and Large based on their girth, both sizes fit perfectly around their chest and neck without restricting them from swimming. We would highly recommend spending a little more to have the Big Eddy over any other brand, it was worth the peace of mind and to have a product that will last a long time.

We got this for our 40 pound lab mix puppy for a canoe trip. I felt weird getting a life jacket for a water dog but it was required by the canoe rental company. Our dog made no fuss the first time we tried it on. He wears it the entire day and does not even try to get out of it. So, I guess it is comfortable. It is easy to strap on and take off. It is also easy to adjust the straps. The sizing seemed true to size for the girth but there is no size description for the neck. We ended up having to go up a size. That one fit perfectly and the straps are long enough for room to grow. Everything about this float coat is sturdy. The handle on the top is strong and perfect for lifting the dog back in the boat. A friend of ours has a different brand for his Westie and he was afraid to pick the dog up by the handle for fear the handle would rip off. I did not have that concern with this one. Our pup gives the Big Eddy Float Coat four paws up.

These boots are totally amazing. They are so fantastically beautiful. They were comfortable right out of the box. Worth every penny.

These were a splurge for me but a so beautiful, they are totally worth it. I have other Ariat boots and they do fit true to size, large enough to wear with a boot sock. I have flat feet and did not experience the painful arches one reviewer mentioned, but if you have a seriously high instep you may have problems. Details on this boot are over the top. These are once in a lifetime boots and with nailed leather soles, these are well crafted, and can be repaired as they wear. Definite investment.
