Fantastic sandal - simple, comfortable (though minimal arch support) with enough heel so as not to be grandma-ish, and not boring because the straps have a tiny bit of sparkle. Straps are well placed to make my not-so-slender feet look thinner. Great design! After wearing them for a day, though, the soles of my feet were a bit black, I'm assuming a combination of sweating and the dye of the fabric lining. The many pros outweigh this little con - I always wash my feet after a day out in sandals anyway!

As much as I wanted this shoe to work for me, my foot and the shoe don't align properly so that my heel hits the heel of the shoe off-center toward the inside - a very unstable feeling.

These shoes are very comfortable and make your feet look sexy (so says my husband). I have high arches, so my weight rests on the outside of my feet. The problem for me was that the top strap (the one toward the ankle) was too loose, and it's not adjustable, so my heel wanted to slide off the shoe to the outside. I'm afraid they'll be too unstable for me, so I am returning them.

I absolutely love these sandals. The sole is flexible and I can walk for blocks in them and still look dressed up.

The elastic bands not only makes this shoe comfortable, it makes it secure. And the heel is graceful, which is unusual for this kind of shoe. I recommend it.

These are simple skate shoes, so it isn't like walking on air, but I find them comfortable. They fit great without being bulky, which is great if you don't have wide feet. I love the way these look. And as always, since they are vegan, they give me superpowers.

Amazing. These shoes are so lightweight, flexible, and breathe like a shoe should. Buy a size smaller than you really are. These shoes feel really big, length wise. Oh and don't kid yourself... these shoes have absolutely NO arch support.

Best shoe I could ever own. Have a collection of them. I wear them for everything, whether skating or working. I'm a roofer and is superior for grip and comfort. Need toddler boy Eliot Vegans.

The Eliots are more comfortable than I expected form some reviews here; they do take a bit to break in, but otherwise are great. I really dig the rubber toe cup as well. The size has been said to be one larger than normal, but they're the same size as the Vans I switched from so no problems here. It's also nice that they look cool, considering most shoes let alone skate shoes look like they were designed by a blind man. One issue I've had though is water. The canvas isn't really expected to hold against water obviously, but I'd advise getting some good waterproofing spray to treat them with or your feet will get soaked if the water rises slightly above the rubber. Otherwise, they seem to be doing an awesome job.

These kicks are awesome. I had Macbeth Wallister\'s and they didn\'t breathe at all. These breathe perfectly fine, and are comfortable. I wore them on a 10 day trip to Europe through rain and mud and they were comfy and kept me dry. Good vegan quality. Order a half-size smaller than you would get for other brands.
