I'm not sure what the other reviewer's problem with these jeans was; simply read the description better. The material is 98% cotton, 2% elastane, so yes, it is not going to feel as stiff as 100% cotton jeans. The jeans are soft and comfortable, and the elastane material is what gives it the softer and more flexible feel. These are a more casual pair of jeans, and a great fit. I am 6'2" with muscular legs, and the fit is perfect. I typically wear 7 jeans, and this is my first pair of Hudson. I was very happy with the purchase.

These pants are so cheaply made, the denim feels more like t-shirt material! It's a shame because they look so great in the pictures. I opened them to have my husband try them on, and we didn't even bother. What a waste.
