The jacket is a nice compromise between a sweatshirt hoodie and a shell. Warm enough for upper 40s and yet light enough to just throw on when it's a bit milder. Others have commented about the fleece-lined sleeves and how they can make it a little difficult to slip over shirt sleeves or other under layers, but having that warmth will make the jacket keep you comfortable with just a t-shirt underneath. The look is casual, but can definitely hold up to a night out in the city. Overall, it's a great choice for a multi-purpose garment.

This jacket is dope! It's warm and comfortable, wore it when I first got it and the rain slid right off! Windy city? Not in this jacket. I'm about 5'9" 178lbs. bought a medium the sleeves are perfect and the mid section is a little snug, but no biggie. The hood is great as well very warm.

I bought this jacket for my husband as a Christmas gift. He loves it! It is light weight yet pretty warm. He likes the material more than the Denali. TNF always has good quality items. Zappos always has great quick service so I was excited when I saw that it was available. I would suggest ordering up one size for layering. Overall really happy with the purchase! Thanks Zappos!

Awesome soft-shell jacket. Great for cooler days, maybe not full blown winter weather, but will definitely cut the wind. Great athletic fit as well, doesn't hang too loosely off of you.

Bought this coat for my father as a birthday gift. He is absolutely in love with it! He says it feels much better than the Denali. The outer shell is somewhat water resistant and the inner lining is a fleece material. It's very warm. I think the jacket runs a bit big. My father is 175 lbs and a medium was a bit big on him - but I guess it's good for layering.

Bought this for my son for Christmas. Couldn't ask for a better jacket. The kids don't hardly wear jackets now. But this one had a hood which I guess makes it OK. He wears it everywhere. It's also more water resistant than some of my very expensive jackets. Overall great jacket and also less expensive at Zappos.

I looked at many jackets prior to this purchase. I even went as far to try out a similar type of jacket from a large, popular warehouse. I kind of had to because it was the same softshell material and it was less than $30. I ended up taking it back the next day because the fit was tight and restricting. I could not hold my arms out to the side without feeling like the jacket was impeding my arms from moving. Enter TNF Apex Android Hoodie. The Zappos App ROCKS for my smartphone. Incredibly easy to use and has a lot of thoughtful features. This jacket was $20-30 lower in price than most websites and major sporting good stores. Free shipping plus the guarantee that Zappos offers makes it a "can't lose" transaction. The jacket is lightweight and is able to be "layered." I live in Florida. Perfect for the fall, windproof, and so far is great with temps into the mid-50's. I'm 5'9" 175# and got the large. It fits perfect and leaves plenty of room to wear a "cold gear" type of shirt underneath. Combined with the hood, I love it and get many compliments on it as well. The hood is definitely warmer. I do not think you will be sorry about getting this jacket.

Really like this jacket, although it's for my son and he has not worn it yet. Purchased a medium and it seem a bit small for him. My son is about 5'8", 140 pounds and growing (13 years old!), it looks like he'll outgrow it by this time next year. Can't afford that! No little brothers to pass it on to. Going to exchange it for a large size, same color, just next size up so he'll be able to layer, as another reviewer mentioned. So, I expect to receive my exchange by Friday, and rain and temps in the 40's predicted for the next couple of days here in NYC, so I will update my review once he's worn it a couple of times. As for Zappos, they could not make shopping any easier. It's merchants like this a create a loyal following. Good prices, super fast (free!) shipping, and no hassle returns make shopping here a pure delight. Keep up the good work Zappos!
