I don't think there's a person living who can fasten the ankle strap on these sandals. I have a high instep so I thought it was just me. Then a co-worker said she'd like to try them, and guess what. She couldn't fasten it either. They feel like they would be really comfortable, but the ankle strap is a big fail.

Zappos, please get size 8 1/2 Extra Wide. I just treated myself to my first pair of Walking Cradles for my birthday. I bought the Sky 2 in 8 1/2 W. They are very comfy and attractive. But they do run a little bit narrow and I would have been better off ordering the extra wide (which I have never needed before in my whole life). Plus the ankle strap could stand to be a little bit longer, there is no way that a person with swollen ankles could wear these. Since Zappos did not have my size in stock, I ordered them for the manufacturer which was a big mistake. Walkingcradles.com gave me free 3 day UPS ground shipping, they do not pay return shipping if the shoes don't fit or if you don't like them plus their "customer service" is only open Monday through Friday 8 am till 4:30 pm CST. Lesson learned, in the future I will purchase my shoes from Zappos who would have given me free overnight shipping and a free return shipping for the exchange. Plus Zappos 365 day warranty is unbeatable. Walking Cradles makes good shoes but it is amazing that they let others "out do" them regarding shipping time, return policies and customer service. I asked the Walking Cradles customer service rep why they let Zappos out do them and he had didn't seem to be the least bit concerned...bleh Walking Cradles customer service.

Very comfortable, no rubbing on the little toe to irritate. Cushion-y insole feels great.

I have a number of foot issues from wearing very high heels for far too many years. These days I need wide, comfortable shoes. These Walking Cradles are perfect! I have never felt a more comfortable sandal. I have 2 pair from last year and will be ordering another pair this year. This was my first experience with Walking Cradles and it certainly won't be the last. They are amazing!

These are the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. I wouldn't wear them hiking, but they're comfortable with any walking I would do in town (shopping, museums, botanical gardens, paved parks). They are also very flattering to my wide, ugly feet with bunions. They ran a bit long for me; I usually wear an 8WW in a sandal, but in this shoe the 7.5 WW was a perfect fit. Thank you Zappos for your easy return system.

I like this shoe, it is comfortable on a ww foot. I ordered a 1/2 size too small. Will order the larger size.

I love the style and the cushioned insoles. Sadly I cannot get a pair to fit properly. I first ordered a 6½WW as this is the size that I wear with other Walking Cradles shoes. That was to short. I then ordered a 7WW and the ankle straps and the width of the shoes were way to wide. I then thought for sure my next exchange would work out. I ordered a 7W in a white and 7W in the brown. The left foot of the white fits perfectly. The right foot ankle strap is huge. They are so big that if I tried to wear them that my ankle would twist. I can put four fingers between the strap. My ankles are the same size on each foot. I was disappointed that this pair was not made correctly. I then tried on the brown pair and the ankle straps on both of these were way to tight. I will have to return them. I have tried enough pairs that I will not reorder another. Perhaps if I was trying these on in a store I could try several pairs until I found one that fit. I wish that you made the ankle strap an adjustable style. Then the shoes would be perfect. It is a cute style.

Lower foot and ankle straps are too loose, velcro closures are already at their maximum. The stitching under the lower foot section is rough and protruding...made my big toe sore after only 30 minutes of wear. Expected a great comfort sandal.

I have narrow feet as well as one foot that has had extensive surgery and I need a comfortable shoe with good arch support. I have had a horrible time trying to find sandals that fit that bill. These Walking Cradles are excellent! I have no trouble with the ankle strap as some other people have mentioned. I just wish this shoe had a little more "pizazz" so I could wear it with dressier clothes.

I have flat, thin, narrow feet...ordered a size 7NN. I couldn't believe how perfectly these fit and how comfortable they are! The style is somewhat plain, but the profile (heel) adds an athletic touch to it.
