I have 4 pairs of these in different colors and I love the way it fits. I had to size up since they seem to run small. I am normally a small but found mediums fit my waist much more comfortable. I am 5'4 and 130 athletic build and these are my fave shorts to wear at the gym.

I wanted to add to my first review last week. I wore these shorts in a 5K mud run (Down & Dirty Merrell Run) and these shorts were awesome. The middle seam wasn't even noticeable and they didn't ride up too much. Very comfy during the run and after, even covered in mud. :)

Great running shorts. I bought them for a half marathon I'm running soon. So far I've only run a 10 k in them, but they fit great. Most importantly they don't ride up.

Talk about bootilicious! Ha! These shorts are comfortable and a nice quality. The only down side is that the inside seam is a little uncomfortable when wearing them but I might just have to get used to it. Other than that, I love them!

Boy short most definitely, as in, "boy, are these short"! I am 5'7 and 128 pounds, an avid runner, but with some substance to my tush and thighs, and these felt to me like running in hipster underwear. My self consciousness in them gave me some extra motivation in the home stretch of my run. Since that only outing in them, I've relegated them to at-home weight training workouts.

I love these shorts. They are super comfortable. They are not too tight, nor too loose. But just right.

First I will say that I like these shorts overall - the style is cute the length is good and I love the little dolphin hem detail on the outside. I have them in several colors. Now the downside - if you buy the lighter colors, you will need to most likely cut out the tags and the poorly designed pocket in the back because if you buy them in the correct size the pocket and the tag shows through the shorts, although I will say I like the shorts enough that this isn't a dealbreaker overall.

I purchased a medium, which is a size larger than I would normally. I am in good shape, but I have extra in my tush/thighs than the model pictured, so the legs ended up hugging my tush more than they did covering any part of my leg. I ended up giving them to my daughter who is a volleyball player, so is used to wearing short shorts. Unless you have legs similar to the model pictured, I would recommend these only for yoga or volleyball.

I am 34-25-35 and 125 pounds. I normally wear a 4/6 and my thighs are pretty thin (they do not touch in the middle). These shorts in the coast/punch color were much more neon in color in person than the picture. I liked that but nothing else. I tried them in XS and S and my butt looked like a big bubble and hello camel toe! Oh yeah, maybe the black might make it less apparent but these shorts let it all show. It is so hard to find a gusseted crotch these days and there is a reason they are needed! So I am still searching for short running shorts, these did not make the cut.

I love, love, love these shorts! I'm 5'7 (around 135 pounds), ordered a medium, and they fit like a dream. I will definitely be getting some more.

These boots are super cute but they do not have a shaft circumference of 16" as stated. They are 14". Do not buy if you are looking for a wide calf boot. These are mislabeled.

Originally ordered off of Nine West Site. Never doing that again; Zappos all the way! Fantastic shoe and even more fantastic customer service from Zappos.

Love these! I'm 5'10" and they hit at mid-kneecap. A little annoying with bare skin but won't be bothersome with tights or jeans. I have thin legs and the calf width is perfect. The leather is soft and pretty. A beautiful, versatile boot!

Love these boots! Love the color and feel of the leather. I have thin legs and the circumference is good, not too wide.

I tried this boot on in a store and knew that it fit my narrow, low-instep foot very comfortably with a thin sock in my normal size, but they didn't have the dark brown color I wanted. Zappos did. This boot is very high. Although I'm long-legged, it comes a little over my knee in front and the back reaches above the crease at the back of the knee, so it has to bend a little when the knee bends, walking or sitting. Since the leather is thin and pretty soft, I decided this didn't bother me, especially wearing them over pants. Someone else, this might be a deal breaker. They do fit over narrow jeans but I have a slender calf. The look is on the dressier side, though they are flat. Just what I wanted, great with skirts and dresses too.

Super cute, but I'm just too short for these. I'm 5'5 and these hit me right in the middle of my knee. I'd totally overlook it but the circumference was too wide. I look plain ol' silly in them.

First off, I must say hands down Nine West is my favorite brand of shoes! But, I agree with the reviewer below. The calf width is definitely smaller than stated. The boot in itself, I love! I ordered the suede and it looked and felt nice. Very cute, just not on me. If you have tall, slim legs this boot will look fab on you! Unfortunately I had to return them.

The Nine West Pattycake in M was too narrow (I do have a wide foot), and it came up too high on the back of my knee. Also the grey was a very dark brown almost black -- too dark for my purposes. The Enzo Angiolini Valetta grey, on the other hand, was a warm, somewhat weathered brown that was more appealing to me. The fit (in M) was fine too (despite my wide foot). Ultimately, however, I settled on the Circa Joan & David Renya. The Renya brown is a good color for the clothes I want to wear with the boots, and the boots fit comfortably. Although they are more of an 8 than the 7 M they are marked, I am willing to put up with a little extra room in front of the toes for the sake of having a toe box wide enough for my foot. I also appreciate the full-length zipper. Now if they could do something about the appalling lack of arch support.

I love the Zappos return policy. I knew these would be a long shot with my freakishly large calves but I was very hopeful. And they did... fit. It just wasn't very pretty. They looked, quite honestly, like knee high socks made out of shiny plastic-y leather. I'm still searching for the trifecta in boots. 1) wide enough for my calf but still structured, 2) made with quality leather that doesn't look or feel cheap, 3) actually tall enough to hit me at the knee. These did not pass the first 2 criteria, and while they qualified for the last one, they actually hit at a weird spot- right at the middle of my knee which felt odd when I walked and didn't look right. I wish they'd been about one inch taller or shorter. I measure 19 inch from the bottom of my heel up to my knee bend in back. My calves are about 16 inch in circumference. I wear a size 9.5 or 10 normally, ordered a 10 and felt that it fit well with socks.

The shaft of these boots is way too tall. I'm 5'6" with long legs, and when I sit the back of the boots uncomfortably (and unattractively) wedges up against the back of my legs and has to bend. Really liked the style but had to send these back.
