I was on a search for a pair of boots
in this style, but couldn't find a non-leather option until I saw these. I liked the way they look, so I bought a pair. First, they were difficult to pull on - the sock liner is very narrow and took more than a few pulls before my foot finally made it fully inside the shoe (my feet are average width). Once on, they felt pretty clunky, given that they are molded EVA, but I accepted that as a possibility when buying the shoe. My main problem, however, is when I attempted to lace the shoe...I pulled the laces tight and one of the top eyelets popped off. I tried to reattach it, but was unsuccessful. I tried to re-lace the shoe to get around the damaged eyelet, and a second one came off. Keep in mind that I hadn't even worn the shoes out of my house at this point, and already they were suffering damage. Overall, I think these shoes are a great concept (comfortable, all weather, non leather boots
), but they never made it beyond a few laps around my kitchen. I would gladly purchase again if the eyelet material was better attached to the boot.
