Bought this for my wife and she was unsure when she opened the box. We made rice that evening and we were all thrilled with the results. Best rice in years - plus many more options for use of the Krup Rice Maker.

Don't waste your money. Adequate rice maker, not even the folks at
Krups know how to make oatmeal in the "cooker". Terrible, uninformative manual. Steamer may work once you figure out that veggies don't go in until it's steaming.
Krups should withdraw this product! It ruins their good reputation. Love their 4 piece toaster.

I purchased this rice cooker steamer a few weeks ago. I now use it almost every day. It makes perfect rice. The steamer cooks vegetables and reheats and keep things warm. I also steam vegetable at the same time I am making rice. A great appliance I wish I had it years ago.
