These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn, and believe me I have a lot of boots! They look great, have a slim calf, and are waterproof. Wish I could wear them year round, but I'll wait for next Fall.

The Isadora is a fantastic boot and another great one from La Canadienne. I ordered several boots from La Canadienne, and this is the one I kept. I was a bit concerned about the square toe, but it doesn't look quite as square when you have them on. The wedge is high enough to be classy to wear with dress slacks or out on the town, yet it is stable enough to wear in any weather. I like to wear high boots over straight leg and skinny jeans. This boot is perfect for that. The top buckle gives it a little extra style as well. Yes, the calf is narrow, but the fit is great. The only downside to this boot is the lack of arch support. Other than that, it's a terrific boot that I know I'll have for years. A special thanks to Zappos customer service that consistently answered questions as I looked for the best La Canadienne for this winter.

Comfortable and stylish boots! These are perfect for the cold rainy winters. They have plenty of stretch - I have 15 inch calves and can wear these boots over jeans. The only issue I have faced is that as they break in the ankles are starting to rub, but nothing thicker socks won't solve.

Love the Isadora! I bought these boots before a trip to the East Coast and they were perfect. Super comfortable right from the start and kept my feet warm in the 20+ degree weather. This is my second pair of La Canadiennes. Their boots are well-made and worth the price.

These boots are fantastic! I read the reviews on them and my expectations were very high. They met all my expectations. I wanted functional boots, warm and waterproof but with lots of style. These have it all. The minute I tried it on I knew that I would not have to break them in. They are the most comfortable boots that I have ever worn. They are worth every penny.
