Hubby loves these for their perfect fit, comfort, and dressy look. Will probably buy again. He's a longtime
Rockport fan, but this was a
blind test in that he didn't know which brand he was so happy with (I got him two different pairs and he didn't pay attention to the labels). For what it's worth, he's very flatfooted.

I found this shoe to be very comfortable, attractive, and affordable. Also love the fact that it's available in sizes above 13. Zappos service is outstanding!

I am overall very happy with the look, style, and comfort with the shoe. It also fits true to size (at least for size 11). As with most Rockports it is a great walking shoe and is perfect for a commuter in a large city. They
dress will with
jeans and slacks. My single (small) complaint would be that
Rockport chose to put a metal stud in the outer heal area. I personally think it looks silly, but
pants typically cover it up.

Shoe looks great and feels better. I have wider feet so it felt narrow for a size 15 but overall is very comfortable and is the type of shoe that looks dressed up when wore with a suit but also appropriate with
jeans.

Very comfortable, with a good quality finish and fit. I do not need to "break in" these shoes, as the leather and sole are flexible enough to make them feel like I've been wearing them for years. I would definitely buy another pair of the
Rockport Alpenglow.

I love these shoes! I bought a pair in February for a job interview and as something I could wear elsewhere. Having landed the job, I spend 12-14 hours a day, 5 days a week in them. They're still going strong: no complaints regarding the construction, comfort, style, or any other aspect. The only asterisk I'd like to add is that it took a few tries to get the fit right. I'm a 11 & 1/2 in
Asics and
Nikes, but a 10 in Rockports/
Adidas (parent of
Rockport). Oh, the fit is a bit narrow, so be wary if you're wider than a D. Highly recommended!

This is a really great shoe! I'm surprised at how quiet the step is with these soles -- I can't even hear a step, and I typically have a heavy foot fall. I would recommend this shoe to others.
Be sure to keep something handy for the scratches as this leather can take a scratch fairly easily.

I like these shoes. They look good and feel comfortable. I'm glad I got the wide size, since so many shoes feel tight to me (like Ecco's).

I bought this for my husband, who has wide feet and often runs into problems with finding a shoe that fits. This one was a perfect fit! And it looks very spiffy. The toe area is a little darker and then blends into a nice brown. Thanks for making these wide options available!
