For a casual fall-winter shoe with good traction and a bit of (comfy) heel, you can't go wrong with these Danksos. I wanted an alternative to a
ballerina flat (like my beloved Privos) but couldn't find anything that looked like it would hold up to our snowy winters. These are obviously no substitute for a good pair of
boots, but they're a great option to wear to the office or for going out when you want something a bit less bulky. These have the same awesome footbed as Dankso
clogs -- the sworn shoe of doctors, waiters, and other folks who spend all day on their feet -- so you can trust they'll keep your feet happy from your morning meeting to your evening concert. I also love the subtle detailing on the toe -- a nice feminine touch that compliments the silhouette and makes these look more stylish than the traditional Dankso clog. The color (a slightly reddish-maroon-brown) also goes with a lot of outfits in my casual wardrobe. In sum, I'm very glad I bought these and recommend them highly!
