I usually wear a 7 1/2, and ordered the same. The shoes felt great everywhere except the width at my bunion. I have very narrow feet, and I've never felt such a snug fit as far as width with a regular shoe! I really wish it didn't rub at my bunion. Considered trying next larger size, but since my right foot is a 1/2 size smaller than my left, I try to keep the size as small as is comfortable for my left so the pair will fit both feet.

These have been really great shoes for me! I was using
running shoes for aerobics classes and killing my feet and ankles; these shoes fixed that and offered great support!

If you have a size 5.5 foot and need
tennis or
walking shoes, you can forget the stores. They all start at a size 6. This was my second order from Zappos. The first time I ordered I had to return the shoes. No problems. I am a very satisfied customer.

Excellent fit. Comfortable shoe-cushion,
arch support. I am between 7W and 7.5W, therefore, 7.5W works.

arch support, but very stiff. Have to work them in a bit. Not sure if I'll keep them Would order a half size up as they run a bit narrow.

These were the best shoe ever for my horrible feet, but if they are not made in China but Indonesia they run a 1/2 size smaller, all the shoes I've ordered on line I had to return due to the smaller size, the stores around here do not carry them any more...
